So you know upfront what you get, what it costs and when it runs
No projects that linger in pilot for months and no open-ended invoices. Every phase has a clear result, a fixed price and a moment where you decide whether we continue.
- Decision point after every phase
- Fixed price per module
- Direct contact with the engineers
Six steps from first conversation to running solution
Intro & scan
Together we look at your processes: where is the manual work, where do things go wrong, what costs the most time. You get an honest answer to whether software or AI is the right tool here, and if so, where best to start. Sometimes the answer is: start with your data.
Process analysis & use-case selection
An engineer gets to grips with the chosen process together with the people who do it daily. We map inputs, exceptions, systems and data and agree what 'works' means: a measurable success criterion.
Proof of concept on real data
No demo data. We build a first working version on your documents and systems and measure whether it works against the agreed criterion. At most two feedback rounds, then a joint go/no-go. If it doesn't work, we stop here and you know that too.
Design & fixed price
Based on the proof of concept we work out scope, architecture and planning and give one fixed price for the production-ready module. Refactoring, security, testing and go-live are simply included. No surprises afterwards.
Build in sprints & go-live
Two-week sprints with a demo at the end. Authentication, monitoring, cost control, fallback paths and audit log are built in as standard. Go-live with documentation and training, so the solution keeps running without us.
Maintenance & further development
Hosting, monitoring, updates and a monthly review for a fixed amount per module. Models and data change; we keep it working. And once the first process runs, we look at the next one together.
What you'll notice is different with us
| Common practice | RocketCode | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | A tool or a technology | One concrete process with measurable value |
| Pilot | Demo on sample data, then 'we'll see' | Working version on your data, with evaluation set and go/no-go |
| Price | Hours, after-the-fact billing, open-ended | Fixed price per module, maintenance per month |
| Contact | Account manager between you and the team | Directly with the engineers who build |
| Data | Wherever the vendor finds convenient | EU-hosted, no training on your data, audit trail |
| Code | The vendor's, lock-in | Yours, open standards, documented |
| AI autonomy | Everything automatic, errors surface later | Human decides on doubt, autonomy grows with trust |
When we're a good match, and when we're not
This fits us
- At least 25 employees or comparable operational complexity
- Daily or weekly processing of quotes, orders, invoices or documents
- Many manual hand-offs between mail, ERP, CRM and spreadsheets
- A decision-maker and process owner who can give time and examples
- A process that stays in structural use after go-live
This fits less well
- Only interested in free advice or a free pilot without a route to production
- No usable examples, documents or data available
- A generic chatbot or one-off content production
- An ERP replacement or large IT programme as a first step
Three principles that guide every project
We don't build prototypes for the shelf. From the first line of code we think about monitoring, cost, maintenance and hand-over.
Sometimes a good form or a simple integration beats AI. We say so, even if it earns us less.
A hybrid setup with human decision points beats full automation from day one in the long run.
About working with RocketCode
How much of our own team's time does a project take?
Less than you think, but not zero. Count on an intro call, one or two working sessions with the people who do the process daily, and short feedback moments at demos. What we do need: a decision-maker and a process owner who are reachable, and access to sample documents and data.
What if the proof of concept doesn't work?
Then we stop, and we say so. You'll have learned what's needed (often: better data) and you're not committed to anything.
Do you also work for larger organisations?
Yes. Our clients range from SMEs with 25 employees to divisions of larger groups. The approach stays the same: one process, one working module, then expand.
What about continuity if you're no longer around?
The code is yours, documented, in open standards (Laravel, PostgreSQL, Python) and runs on your own or a mainstream EU cloud. Any competent developer can take it over.
